Tools for Rent Series

The tools were constructed of dried plant materials, invested, then destroyed during a burnout. The tools were cast in bronze and housed in cedar boxes.

Cedar refers to hope or wedding chests. The arbitrary value placed on a woman based on the contents of a box is similar to the arbitrary value placed on art.

Tools can be used for construction or destruction. It is the choice of the individual using the tool.
